Dangerous Goods Awareness Training

Are you staff aware of the legal requirements of Dangerous Goods regulations?

There is a legal requirement that all staff have awareness and function specific training when involved in the carriage of Dangerous  Goods

The training requirements of Dangerous Goods regulations don't just apply to transport companies they apply to all parties involved in the Carriage of Dangerous Goods which includes:
  • Consignors - Persons or companies dispatching Dangerous Goods

  • Carriers - Persons or companies transporting Dangerous Goods

  • Consignees - Persons or companies receiving Dangerous Goods

  • Loads and Unloaders - Persons or companiess loading and unloading vehicles/containers of Dangerous Goods

  • Packers - Persons or companies packing Dangerous Goods

  • Fillers - Persons or companies filling containers or tanks of Dangerous Goods

Most Dangerous Goods Awareness training courses are generic designed to coverall aspects in a single course. This is often ineffective as the contents is can be inappropriate for the work your staff may do and the important messages are lost.
Waste Technical is different as our lead DSGA has been conducting training for over 8 years and has developed courses which are short modules designed to cover the activities that you carry out. These can then be combine to produce a bespoke course to suit your needs.
This is more cost effective option as all your staff can be put through a short awareness course and the detailed training only given to those who need it.
